Our Story
Since 1987, President Bruce Hinrichsen led our team with many years of industry experience, setting the standard for superior HVAC services in the region. In 2003, Bruce’s son, Mitch Hinrichsen, joined the Hinrichsen family business, starting as a sheet metal shop worker. With dedication and hard work, Mitch quickly rose through the ranks, gaining expertise in installation and service.
In 2014, Bruce Hinrichsen passed away, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and commitment to customer satisfaction. In the wake of his father’s passing, Mitch Hinrichsen stepped up to take over day-to-day operations and sales at Hinrichsen Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. Since then, Mitch has led the company with passion and determination, steering it towards continued growth and success.
Under Mitch’s leadership, Hinrichsen Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. has thrived, expanding its reach and reputation as a trusted provider of HVAC solutions in Peoria to Bloomington and everywhere in between. Hinrichsen Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. was founded in 1987. It began as a partnership but has grown to a ten-employee corporation. Hinrichsen’s has been a Top Ten Amana dealer since 1989. In 1998 Hinrichsen Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. installed its first WaterFurnace geothermal system.
