What to Expect
We schedule around Central Illinois weather so you're never guessing when your system was last touched by a Hinrichsen tech.
Spring (Mar – May)
Cooling prep, coil care, refrigerant check, and safety controls before first hot day.
Fall (Sep – Nov)
Heating startup, heat exchanger inspection, burners, and airflow for winter loads.
Limited time: free diagnostic included with sign-up when you mention this plan.
Serving Goodfield, IL & surrounding areas.
For most homes we service, yes — the member parts discount and the free annual diagnostic alone typically offset the membership on the first service call, and the two documented tune-ups are what keep small issues from becoming season-ending failures. Here's exactly what you're buying, with no fine print.
Four things: two seasonal tune-ups (cooling prep in spring, heating startup in fall), a member discount on parts for any repair, one complimentary diagnostic call per year, and priority scheduling when the first heat wave or cold snap hits and the call board fills up.
Every visit is documented — readings checked against factory spec, filter and airflow condition logged, and written findings with photos when something needs attention. You get a record of your system's health, not a mystery “all good.”
Because our equipment works both ends of the thermometer. A system that idles through a mild coastal winter gets a pass; a Goodfield or Peoria system runs hard through July humidity and then again through January cold, often within the same year of ownership.
The failure pattern we see most is simple: the systems that die young are the ones nobody looked at. Skipped fall tune-ups become mid-January no-heat calls; a clogged condensate line in June becomes a shut-down AC on the hottest weekend. Twice-a-year maintenance exists to catch exactly those failures while they're still cheap.
It protects it. Registered Daikin systems carry a 12-year parts limited warranty and WaterFurnace geothermal systems carry 10-year parts and labor coverage — and manufacturers expect the equipment to have been reasonably maintained when they review a claim.
Because plan visits are documented, your service history is on file with us. If you ever need a manufacturer review, the paper trail already exists.
Yes — geothermal is our specialty. We've installed more than 1,000 geothermal systems since 1987, and we maintain what we install: loop pressures, flow rates, and heat-of-extraction checks that a generalist tune-up simply skips.
If another company installed your geothermal system, we can still take over its maintenance — that's a common way new customers find us.
Plan pricing depends on how many systems you have and what type they are (a geothermal loop check is a different visit than a gas furnace tune-up). Call (309) 965-2604 and the office will quote current membership pricing for your equipment in one call — and if you mention the plan when you sign up, your first diagnostic is included.
The maintenance plan — answered straight.
